The history of handicrafts

Traditional ceramic products have been produced in Bolesławiec since the 13th century. They are characterised by hand decoration with brushes and stamps, as well as firing at high temperature (1250°C). The most characteristic patterns are flowers, fruits, animals and geometric motifs.
